janice was leading the adt dance workshops in spring 2017, where you could go drop by a dance studio for an hour and learn a dance. so i went, and that's the first time i met janice. she was teaching gfriend's navillera, which would later become the first dance i'd learn the entirety of, and the one i'd bring to math summer camp with me. (gfriend's always going to have a special place in my heart.)
