look, let me tell you a story.

a year ago i was watching a dance showcase, and one of the dancers threw a flower into the audience at some point. i was sitting near the front so it landed on me.

in other words, a girl whose name and face i have no way of finding out randomly threw a flower at my face.

… and I STILL CAN'T BRING MYSELF TO DISCARD IT, because it's still a gift. it's still sitting in front of my tv in boston.
